There is so much to do to help ArtsQuest make this festival a reality: Information Booths, selling soda, clean team, selling beer and working with our Staging crew and more. Join Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem, in supporting their community food pantry! Volunteers are needed on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month to assist with receiving food deliveries and organizing pantry shelves. Join Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor this summer at various locations to learn about D&L Trail Patrol and Adopt-A-Section of D&L Trail programs, time commitments and responsibilities, and receive the tools needed to complete the program objectives for tending to the trails along the corridor. Join Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center for the 5th Annual Revolutions for Inclusion Bike Ride, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 8 at the Ironton Rail Trail (Saylor Park). Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles for this family-friendly day featuring a children’s skills course, mechanic station, free helmets for kids, bike rentals, picnic lunch, music, SWAG, and raffle prizes from local businesses. The Special Events Coordinator volunteer plays a key role in planning, organizing, and executing events that support the mission of Empowerment Pathways with community workshops, fundraisers, appreciation events and outreach activities, this volunteer ensures that each gathering is purposeful, engaging, and well-coordinated. If you are looking for youth volunteering opportunities over the summer, Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown, has a summer junior volunteer program for students 13 years old or have completed 7th grade up to and including rising seniors in high school. Work in the gift shop, help coordinators with activities and programs, or push folks in their wheelchairs outside in the great weather.
