Sylvia A. “Sally” (Mohr) Kern, 90, of Fogelsville, died peacefully May 10, 2025, at her residence. Born in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Marydena M. (Fegley) Mohr.

She graduated from Allen High School in 1952 and spent her teenage years working in the family orchard. She was employed as an assistant cashier at The Neffs National Bank 1965–1997. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville. “Mema” was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, feeding the birds and watching the Phillies.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy L. Bonsell (Richard), of Allentown; son, Kyle L. (Robin), of Red Lion; grandchildren, Kelsey E. Bonsell, of Chicago, Ill., Nicholas J. Bonsell, of Lititz, Megan E. Bonsell, of Fogelsville; great-grandpups Mac and Luna.

She was predeceased by siblings, Rewellien “Rudy” Mohr, Leroy Mohr, Marilyn M. “Susie” Brown; former husband, Benjamin F.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. May 27 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kris P. Snyder officiating.
