Rooms to View historic home and garden tours
Some of the Lehigh Valley’s most spectacular homes and stunning gardens take center stage on the 33rd annual Room to View House & Garden Tour June 6-7. Tickets for the event, including the Friday Preview Soirée and Saturday House & Garden Tour, are on sale now at historicbethlehem.org and 800-360-8687.
Presented by the nonprofit Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, Rooms to View offers attendees an exclusive look at some of the region’s most unique residences and flourishing gardens. The event kicks off Friday, June 6 with the Preview Soirée, a beautifully catered reception and chic celebration of the decorative arts at the 2025 Rooms to View signature home of Lizette and Jean-Claude Dubacher in Lower Saucon Township. The evening’s décor, menu and music will celebrate the world’s cultures in recognition of Bethlehem’s recent designation as the nation’s newest World Heritage Site. Tickets for the event are limited.
“Jean-Claude and I are thrilled to host a celebration that reflects the global spirit of World Heritage,” Lizette Dubacher said. “From the vibrant international menu to lively Latin music, we will highlight the cultural connections that unite us across borders. It’s a perfect way to honor Bethlehem’s place on the world stage. Let’s come together to celebrate this historic moment in a festive, flavorful way!”
On Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Rooms to View attendees can explore a diverse collection of homes highlighting a variety of architectural styles, interior designs and gorgeous landscapes on the House & Garden Tour. Architectural and décor styles represented on the tour include Southern- and Gothic-style architecture; eclectic, mid-century modern décor; and more. Stops include the Lehigh University President’s House, Dream Boyd Theatre in Bethlehem and several private residences.
The Rooms to View House & Garden Tour culminates June 7, 4-5 p.m., with a wine & cheese reception and exclusive look at the Grist Miller’s House in Bethlehem’s Colonial Industrial Quarter. The building, listed on the National Park Service’s Register of Historic Places, was recently restored and will now serve as a destination for people to learn about Bethlehem’s early industrial history.
