Tuesdays: Poem of the week at Books on the Hill. A new poem is selected and recited by performance poet/library staff Cleveland Wall. No registration necessary – this is a drop-in between 1 and 5 p.m. event.

Thursdays: Storytime at Coolidge. Ages two to four and pre-K themed story times featuring picture books, puppets, childhood rhymes, songs, and a simple craft. Wednesday, May 28: Vegetable gardening: Discover the joys of growing your own vegetables. Monday, June 2, 9, 16, 23: Qigong: Chinese exercise; promotes circulation, flexibility, balance, and stamina to improve overall health and well-being. Monday, June 2: Story Circles: Growing Appreciation, Connection and Trust workshop for adults with professional actor and teaching artist Mark McKenna. For adults 55 and older to connect through storytelling, fostering listening and appreciation in a creative setting. 10 a.m. to noon. Registration required.
