Around two miles from the Route 512 intersection, Unit 1, traveling at an unsafe speed, rear-ended Unit 2 and came to a rest on the right shoulder, while Unit 2 did the same about a quarter-mile later.

Unit 1 was towed from the scene and police went to the home of the car’s registered owner, who said the vehicle had been stolen the previous day and a report would be filed with South Whitehall Police.
