Mayfair music schedule

Audience-favorite bands highlight Mayfair Festival of the Arts, May 23-25, Cedar Crest College, Allentown.

The free festival, which serves as the unofficial kickoff for summer, is featuring 12 performers and bands at its two stages during the three-day event.

Opening Mayfair May 23 on the Main Stage are the Rogue Diplomats with their traditional Irish music infused with contemporary American folk, and headliner Bethlehem rock band The Weekenders.

At the Blaney Performance Patio on May 23 is pop-jazz singer Kristen Morgenstern.

Opening the Main Stage May 24 is long-time fan favorite The Large Flowerheads, followed by the debut of returning performer Erin Kelly with her band. Headlining the Main Stage Saturday is Go Go Gadjet, which combines traditional instruments with synthesizers.

At the Performance Patio May 24 are singer-songwriters Stacy Gabel and Melody Cruz, performing covers and originals.

Jimmy Buffet cover band Jimmy and the Parrots opens the Main Stage May 25, followed by The Wonton Soups with originals and covers influenced by ska and funk. Headlining the Main Stage May 25 is funk party band Philadelphia Funk Authority, followed by a drone show to conclude the festival.

On the Performance Patio May 26, Kendal Conrad will play acoustic originals, along with singer Tim Harakal.
