Alvernia University, Reading, celebrated more than 550 students in the Class of 2025 at the Santander Arena in downtown Reading on May 10.

Local students included:

Allentown: Elaf Aljizani, earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Ashley Miller, earned a Master of Science in occupational therapy, Philip Natosi, earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management, Wilma Taveras, earned a Master of Science in occupational therapy and Bachelor of Science in health science, Deepthi Vanga, earned a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration, Jacob Ziegler, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology;

Kutztown: Jamie Geiger, earned an Associate of Science degree in medical imaging, Abigail Hilbert, earned a Bachelor of Arts in addictions and mental health treatment, Owen Stemko, earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Brenden Whalley, earned a Master of Education in special education; and

New Tripoli: Kacie Walters, earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
