SHS names Student of the Week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am in 12th grade at Salisbury High School.

Q. Who is in your family? Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My parents are Jenny Fernandez and Dale Swoyer; my pets are Cocoa and Marley.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. Math because I’ve always been good at it and always enjoyed doing equations.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I am vice president of SGA and a member of National Honor Society.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A. Softball, marching band, jazz band and concert band.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My next goal after high school is to go to Drexel University for electrical engineering and pursue a career in electrical engineering.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge to date is managing my time with sports and a heavy course load.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered by my laughter.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with any historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. I would probably pick Amelia Earhart.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Don’t shy away from challenging yourself because you’re scared.
