Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

APRIL 13

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street, at East 21st and Main streets, on West Ninth Street, in the 2100 block of Main Street and at West 21st and Canal streets.

A civil matter in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was investigated.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1600 block of Main Street.

Suspicious activity in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Police assisted a male in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

The department conducted a warrant service in the 1700 block of Main Street. A female with an outstanding Northampton County warrant was taken into custody and transported to Northampton County Prison.

APRIL 14

Traffic stops were conducted at West 21st and Canal streets, at East 17th and Main streets, at Main and East 14th streets, at East 21st Street and Northampton Avenue and in the 1000 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 400 block of Greenview Drive in locating a male.

A civil matter in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was reported.

Neighbor complaints in the 400 block of East 11th Street, the 300 block of East Ninth Street and the 1300 block of Washington Avenue were addressed.

APRIL 15

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1000, 1300 and 2300 blocks of Main Street, at Main and East 23rd streets, at West 10th and Canal streets, at Canal and West 17th streets, at Main Street and Cherryville Road and in the 500 block of East 21st Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 1800 block of Newport Avenue and the 100 block of West 28th Street.

Harassment in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

Suspicious activity in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue was investigated.

Police assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

APRIL 16

Traffic stops were conducted in the 600 block of East 21st Street, the 100 block of Laubach Avenue, at East 10th and Main streets, in the 1200 block of Canal Street, at Main Street and Washington Avenue, at East 21st and Main streets, in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 1000, 1700, 2200 and 2400 blocks of Main Street and at Washington Avenue and Keichel Court.

A juvenile problem occurred in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 1700 block of Main Street, a report of a civil issue was handled.

APRIL 17

Traffic stops were conducted in the 300 block of Main Street, at Stewart Street and Czapp Avenue, at Main Street and Washington Avenue, in the unit block of West 21st Street and at East 21st Street and Washington Avenue.

On Smith Lane and in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue, officers assisted males.

Police checked the area in the 100 block of West 14th Street, the 1400 block of Poplar Street and the 1500 block of Canal Street.

APRIL 18

A suspicious male in the unit block of Keglovits Lane was reported.

At West 14th and Canal streets, a report of a civil issue was handled.

Police conducted a traffic stop at East 20th Street and Laubach Avenue.

Criminal mischief — rocks thrown at two legally parked vehicles — took place in the 100 block of Frank Drive and at Frank Drive and West 27th Street.

Officers assisted Lehigh Township police in the 3600 block of Canella Drive, Lehigh Township.

Suspicious activity in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

APRIL 19

Civil matters occurred in the 2600 block of Main Street and the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 600 block of East 21st Street and the unit block of West 21st Street.

A neighbor complaint in the 700 block of Dewey Avenue was addressed.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of East 10th Street.

In the 400 block of East 11th Street, a report of loud music had police at the scene.
