William “Bill” S. Bronson Sr. - postal carrier

William “Bill” S. Bronson Sr., 92, of Fountain Hill, died May 8, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in New Jersey, he was a son of the late Marshall Bronson and the late Ruth (Lamberton) Bronson Cole and a stepson of the late Carl Cole. He was the husband of the late Mary Constance “Connie” (McHale) Bronson for 65 years

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Oklahoma and England during the Korean War.

He was an U.S. Postal Service mail carrier and clerk for more than 30 years at Bala Cynwyd, King of Prussia and Lehighton until he retired.

He was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill.

He was a member of the Golden Hillers.

He is survived by four children, William “Bill” S. Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Bethlehem, Jacqueline Lanning of Catasauqua, Debbie Bronson of Hellertown and Matt Bronson of Emmaus; a sister-in-law, H. Jacqueline McHale of Fountain Hill; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
