The Bethlehem Parking Authority has announced a parking promotion designed to welcome residents and visitors downtown this spring and beyond. Beginning the week of May 19, drivers can enjoy 50 percent off the first four hours of parking in all Bethlehem Parking Authority parking garages every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

“Garage parking is the easiest way to explore any downtown, especially without the hassle of searching for a spot or worrying about metered time limits,” said Authority Executive Director Steven Fernstrom. “Our garages are modern, accessible and just steps from everything happening in our downtowns – from shopping and dining to arts and community events. This promotion makes it even easier for people to enjoy everything that Bethlehem has to offer this spring, with less stress and more time to explore.”

• What: 50 percent off hourly garage rate for the first 4 hours

* Standard rate: $1.50/hour
