Stella B. Becker, 92, of Whitehall and formerly of Stroudsburg and Kreidersville, died May 5, 2025. She was the wife of the late Stanley Becker for 52 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of immigrant parents from Hungary and Austria, George and Mary (Laky) Benko.
She was a 1950 graduate of Northampton High School.
She worked as a secretary for Western Electric in Allentown.
She loved dancing the polka at Northampton’s Liederkranz.
She was an independent resident at Fellowship Community.
She is survived by four children, James and wife Margery of South Carolina, Thomas Becker and spouse the Rev. Steve Filizzi of Florida, Susan Eden and husband Robert of Pennsylvania and Michael Becker and partner Bess Mutter of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Bethany Smith with Jonathan, Jeremy Eden with Kristin, Lydia Carfagno with Matthew, Shane Hanna, Quinn with Kayla and Alex; seven great-grandchildren, Paisley, Porter, Piper, Paxton, Charlotte, Cooper and Trevor; a brother, John Benko of Coopersburg; 32 nieces and nephews; and other family.
She was predeceased by two half sisters; two sisters; and two brothers.
