Sheckler Elementary School’s egg drop for fourth-grade students has been rescheduled to 1:15 p.m. May 16. This is Sheckler Elementary’s 34th year of the egg drop.

There will be no school May 26 for Memorial Day.

There will be a free football combine for all Catasauqua residents ages 4-12. The event is set for 9:30 a.m.-noon May 31 at the Catasauqua High School field.

The borough of Catasauqua is offering a free kids’ summer program for Catasauqua residents in grades 1-6 for the 2025-26 school year.

The program runs 9:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays from June 16 to Aug. 1, at the large pavilion at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Registration forms can be emailed to candace@catasauqua.org, dropped off in the borough’s drop box, mailed in or brought on the first day of the program. For more, call Candace at 610-264-0571, ext. 209.

This is the final week to apply for Sheckler Elementary’s full-time autistic support teacher for the 2025-26 school year. More information on certificate requirements can be found on Sheckler’s website and Facebook page.

The final lunch menus for the year have been posted to the Catasauqua Area School District website. There will be no lunches served June 4, 5 or 6 due to early dismissals. The last day of the 2024-25 academic year is June 9.
