Roughies Report: CHS Student Council recognized at IronPigs baseball game
Congratulations to Catasauqua High School seniors Lilyana Gacitua and Jada Key-Pujols who were honored on the field at a recent IronPigs game for their outstanding leadership as members of Student Council. Fellow Student Council members Maya Osorto and Juliana Vazquez joined them on the field for the celebration. Lilyana and Jada were recognized alongside students from seven other Lehigh Valley high schools.

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s senior recognition night, celebrating the Class of 2025, will be held May 29 at PPL Center, 701 Hamilton St., Allentown. Seniors and their families are invited to attend the ceremony, which begins 6:30 p.m. All of the seniors will be presented with certificates on stage during the celebration.

Graduation for the CHS Class of 2025 is set for 10 a.m. May 31 in the school gym. Class officers would like to prepare goodie bags for the graduating seniors to enjoy on this special day. Class funds will be used to purchase some gifts, but the class would greatly appreciate any snack contributions/donations to include in the bags.

The end of the year is coming. There will be early dismissal June 5, 6 and 9, with CHS students dismissed 11:15 a.m.

Community Music School, 1544 Hamilton St., Allentown, offers a variety of summer music camps and workshops for kids and teenagers ages 7-18.
For kids ages 7-11, camps like Music Exploration, Intro to Piano, Build Your Own Ukulele and Intro to Violin are available. For teenagers ages 12-18, camps include Intro to Music Production, Music and Film Lab and Rock Band Performance.
One-day, one-week or two-week camps are available. All camps begin June 17.
