Northampton: Grace UCC plans all-you-can-eat meal, basket raffle, bake sale
An all-you-can-eat pork and sauerkraut dinner, basket raffle and bake sale will be held 4-7 p.m. May 17 at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave.
Dinners include pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce, dinner roll, dessert and beverages. Children’s hot dog dinners, for ages 10 and under, will also be available.
Dinners will be for dine in or takeout. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church’s basket social is set for noon-7 p.m. May 17 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 18 at the church, 2181 Washington Ave. Gifts include baskets, gift cards and larger items.
Delicious homemade food and baked goods will also be available.

Siegfried Railroad Station Museum will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m. May 18. The station is located by the bridge on Route 329.
This year marks the end of World War II. Scrapbooks with newspaper pictures and articles of men and women who served in the war are still available for perusal. Another book has been started with information of veterans who served at any time after World War II.
The station is the home of Northampton Area Historical Society. New members are always welcome.
There is no charge to visit, but donations are always welcome.

Wheels on the Canal is set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 17 at Canal Street Park, 1400 Canal St. The rain date is May 18.
The event features a car show and craft and vendor fair, all benefiting Mission 22 and Blue Star Mothers of America, Lehigh Valley Chapter 201.
Vehicle and vendor registrations are open.

Northampton Area School District community education is currently offering classes.
Lap and open swim is held 7:30-8:30 p.m. May 21 and 28 in the middle school natatorium.
Coed basketball with Matthew Heisler is set for 10-11:30 a.m. May 17, 24 and 31 and June 7 in the Lehigh Elementary School gymnasium.
Participants do not need to be NASD residents to join but must be at least 15 years old. Register at nasdschools.org under the community tab.
