Kean University
Ringenberger named to dean’s list
Kean University congratulates Zachary Ringenberger, of Whitehall, for earning a place on the dean’s list for the fall 2024 academic term. Ringenberger is studying management at Kean, a national R2 research institution and New Jersey’s urban research university, and has demonstrated hard work and dedication to their studies.
“Kean University celebrates the success of each student who has earned a place on the dean’s list, reflecting our shared commitment to academic excellence and meaningful public impact,” Kean President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D., said. “As Kean continues to take its place as a national R2 research university, our students are raising the bar with their drive, determination and academic achievement.”
The dean’s list recognizes undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 credits and achieved a grade-point average of 3.45 or higher. Last semester, 3,010 undergraduate students were named to this honor. These students represent a wide range of majors and come from communities across New Jersey, the nation and the world. Their achievements reflect Kean’s mission to foster excellence, access and social mobility through high-quality, inclusive education.

Gallo inducted into honor society
Michael Gallo, of Whitehall, was among the University of Scranton students inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society in political science. Membership is limited to juniors and seniors with a GPA of at least 3.4 in political science courses and an overall rank in the top third of the class. The honor society was founded in 1920.
Gallo is a junior political science major at the Jesuit university.
