Bath: Bath Museum to open May 17

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open 1-3 p.m. May 17 for tours of the historic buildings, grounds and new museum. For more information, call 610-837-9015.

The Bath Fire Social Club, 135 S. Walnut St., will be holding a bingo extravaganza May 18. The doors open 11 a.m., and bingo starts 1 p.m.

There will be regular bingo, special bingo, first bingo and the final jackpot bingo. Pull tabs will also be available.

There will be food and beverages for purchase.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, will be participating in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Click It or Ticket campaign May 12-June 1.

Certified Troopers will be installing car seats 2-8 p.m. May 19 at the Bath municipal building, 121 S. Walnut St. No appointment is necessary.

Iglesia Pentecostal Church Food Bank, 2459 E. Scenic Drive, is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. every first and third Monday of the month. It will be open May 19.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will hold a family game night 6 p.m. May 24. Bring your favorite board game and a snack to share.

All are welcome.

Emmanuel’s Church will be holding one service 9 a.m. May 25 in fellowship hall. This will be followed by a service of remembrance given by the Sons of the Civil War.

Emmanuel’s Church would like to know of any Emmanuel’s members who are graduating from high school or a higher education program this year. Share their names with the church office so we can include them in our program to honor graduates and their accomplishments 10 a.m. June 8. The office number is 610-837-1741.

During the month of April, Emmanuel’s Church will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting peanut butter, shampoo and soap. There is an ongoing need for ramen noodles.

Donations can be dropped off in the bins in fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area.

The Bath Area Food Bank is always in need of monetary donations, and A-Hart’s gift cards are needed for emergencies. Bring all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” to the church office.
