Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank is a client choice pantry, dedicated to feeding the food insecure of Lehigh County since 1978.

As the only food pantry in our area that is open five days a week, in addition to one evening weeknight, it serves more than 3,000 people per month who are homeless, housing insecure and have trouble making ends meet.

In addition to its daily services, it is actively developing a new initiative to bring nutritious food directly to residents in local senior housing communities.

The organization is led by a passionate and committed board and is seeking dynamic individuals who have a desire to serve the food insecure to join.

The organization welcomes candidates with background and expertise in human resources, law, grant writing, finance, marketing and other talents.

A background in nonprofit work and connections to the local Hispanic community are especially valuable.
