Writer supports Monica Hodges and Chris Peischl

To the Editor:

It’s often said that “All politics are local,” and that’s especially true in South Whitehall. The decisions made by our board of commissioners impact our daily lives.

On May 20, we have the opportunity to continue South Whitehall’s positive momentum by re-electing Monica Hodges and Chris Peischl.

Monica is a thoughtful, independent voice who began attending township meetings in 2017 as a citizen advocate. She’s committed to transparency, listens to residents and votes based on what’s best for our community — not politics.

Chris has served South Whitehall for over 40 years as a volunteer firefighter. His deep knowledge of emergency services and township history is a tremendous asset. On the board, he’s been a strong advocate for our first responders!

As voters, we have a responsibility to elect leaders who are informed, engaged and truly invested in our community. Please learn about the candidates and vote based on vision and proven leadership.

Monica and Chris have shown steady leadership, a deep connection to our community and a commitment to making informed, balanced decisions. They’ve earned our trust and votes!

Please join me in supporting Monica Hodges and Chris Peischl for commissioners. Let’s keep South Whitehall moving forward with leaders who truly care.
