Lehigh Valley’s 2025 Carpenter Cup softball roster has been released and includes sophomores and juniors from high schools throughout District XI.

Lehigh Valley’s players will compete in the Carpenter Cup Softball Classic Tournament the week of June 18 at FDR Park in Philadelphia.

The tournament is a college showcase sponsored by the Philadelphia Phillies that features teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Players from the Lehigh Valley Press coverage area are Northampton’s Avery Deibert and Hannah Duerr, Whitehall’s Morgan Laub, Freedom’s Brooke Rummel, Emmaus’ Taylor Hauver, Mari Eisworth and Abigail Derr, and Northwestern Lehigh’s Emma Freeman.

Lehigh Valley’s roster also includes Palisades’ Catie Russo, Nazareth’s Taylor Friel, Lily Moretti and Avery Kauffman, and Southern Lehigh’s Isabella Germani.

Brian Fehnel is returning for his fourth season as head coach of Lehigh Valley and will be assisted by Ricky Sechler, Kelly Dulaney, Bill Held, Jenn Schellhammer, and Mike Yadush.

Lehigh Valley’s first games are scheduled for June 16 when they will play Philadelphia Catholic at 8 a.m., Jersey Shore at 10 a.m., and Olympic Colonial at 2 p.m.

In preparation for the tournament, the Lehigh Valley team will play two games on June 11 at Pates Park, Allentown.

Opposing teams will be comprised of senior Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and Colonial League All-Stars.
