Skopal earns Muhlenberg academic honors
Academic awards are bestowed each spring at Muhlenberg College’s annual Honors Convocation – a formal academic ceremony designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement in the college community. This year’s convocation was held on Sunday, April 27, in Egner Chapel. Local awardees include:
William Skopal of Bethlehem, PA (18020) received the Dr. Victor L. Johnson Scholarship, awarded annually to a rising junior or rising senior history major in good academic standing, considered deserving by the history department, given in honor of the late emeritus professor of history. A graduate of Notre Dame High School, Skopal is studying history at Muhlenberg College.
Morrison recognized for mock trial
Congratulations to Amber Morrison of Bethlehem for a strong performance in the William W. Daniel National Mock Trial Competition. Their success was recognized on Georgia State University’s spring 2025 Honor Day.
This prestigious competition is hosted annually in Atlanta by the Georgia State Bar Young Lawyers Division. It attracts top trial advocacy teams from across the country. The Georgia State Law team demonstrated exceptional courtroom skills, persuasive storytelling and a deep understanding of trial procedure.
