Northampton’s doubles tennis team of seniors Brett Bastian (top) and Joseph Tomaro (above) qualified for the District 11 doubles tournament which was held last week. The NHS duo, seeded eighth, took on Parkland’s Chu and Zhang, which were the ninth seed. The Kids would fall in the opening round contest, 6-4, 6-4. Emmaus’ Chris and Nick Stone would win the tournament after knocking off Noah Rodburg and Eric Wu of Freedom in the finals.
