Children’s author Doreen Cronin visits Northwestern Elementary

Northwestern Elementary hosted celebrated children’s book author Doreen Cronin on April 15.

She entertained students while providing insights into her creative process aimed at inspiring young authors.

The highlight of the visit was her reading of her beloved book “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type.”

Students giggled at the cows’ antics and clever demands for better working conditions.

Cronin was moved to tears when full audience participation surprised her. After the show, she thanked everyone for the performance, and the opportunity to experience Northwestern Elementary as a visiting author.
During her interactive presentation, fifth grader John Gallo asks a question which she happily answers.
