Margaret Ifkovits, 69, of Northampton, died May 3, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Lorraine M. (Gronotsky) Ifkovits.

She was a 1974 graduate of Northampton High School.

Before retirement, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Simcoe Beverage and also as a legislative assistant for state Rep. Frank Yandrisevits.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by seven siblings, Susan Dougherty and husband James, Joseph, Kathleen Schock, Barbara, Mary Anne, Michael and wife Sally and Lori; a sister-in-law, Louise; eight nephews; a niece; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, William; and a brother-in-law, Ambrose Schock.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a prayer service, May 9 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.

Contributions may be presented to Lehigh Valley Hospice.
