Hokendauqua: Recycle electronics May 10
Whitehall Township will be holding its electronics recycling and document shredding day, for township residents only, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 10 at the municipal complex, 3219 MacArthur Road. Follow signs leading toward public works.
Proof of residency is required.
This is a noncontact event, so you must stay in your car.
There is a limit of 10 boxes for shredding. Some electronics are free to recycle, while others have a fee.
Accepted forms of payment include cash and checks. Have exact change or a check, made payable to Responsible Recycling Services, prepared.

The last free swim time, for Whitehall Township and Coplay Borough residents only, in the natatorium at Whitehall High School is 6:30-8 p.m. May 14. Photo ID proving residency is required.
Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by a parent/legal guardian, and any child in need of a flotation device must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian while in the pool.

Whitehall Historical Preservation Society will be holding its spring flea market 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 17, with a rain date of May 18, at 506 Mickley Road.
To reserve your 12-foot-by-20-foot space, call 610-776-7280. There is a cost for both WHPS members and nonmembers.

Whitehall will have its annual fishing derby May 24 in Coplay Creek at Hokendauqua Park and Playground, 3417 Lehigh St. Registration begins 8 a.m., and the contest will take place 9-11 a.m.
There will be first-, second- and third-place prizes for ages 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-15. All fish will be measured.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 29, First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., will hold a church reunion picnic for current and past members, people who were confirmed or baptized at the church, attended Sunday school or Vacation Bible school there, past teachers and pastors and anyone else who attended a church service. First Presbyterian hopes you will reconnect, reminisce and catch up with friends.
There will be hot dogs, homemade food, water, bingo, games, face painting, a scavenger hunt and more. You are asked to bring your own chairs, and covered dishes are welcome.

Whitehall Township announced its 2025 summer concert series lineup. Concerts run 6-9 p.m. at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.
Performances include GirlCrue June 21, Aardvarks July 12, Tool Shed Jack July 19, Main Street Cruisers July 26, Steel Creek Aug. 9 and Flirtin’ with the Mob Aug. 16.
In addition, there will also be food trucks and refreshments from Soaked Winery and Hawk Mountain Brewery.

Hokendauqua Athletic Association is planning a community yard sale, set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 26 at Bob Warke Field, 3151 Lehigh St. Reserve your 10-foot-by-10-foot spot to sell your items.
