District News: Students, teachers invited to participate in Freaky Friday

May 9 will be Freaky Friday at Whitehall High School. Students are invited to dress up like teachers, and teachers can dress up like students.

Zephyr Elementary School’s spring band concert is set for 7 p.m. May 14 in the auditorium at WHS.

Juniors who are interested in becoming a naval officer can join Villanova University this summer for the NROTC summer seminar. The deadline to apply is May 15.

At 7 p.m. May 20, Zephyr Elementary’s chorus will present “Passport Around the World” in the auditorium at WHS.

The competitive summer swim team, for ages 5-18, is coming. There will be a new swimmer test 6-8 p.m. May 15 in the pool at WHS.

There is a fee.

Creation Station STEM camp, for Whitehall-Coplay School District students in grades 4 and 5, will take place 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 30-July 2 at Gockley Elementary School. The cost is $10, and school bus transportation is available.
