Spring concerts in Northampton Area School District are underway.

• George Wolf and Moore elementary schools’ band concert: 7-8 p.m. May 12 in the auditorium at Northampton Area High School

• Lehigh and Siegfried elementary schools’ band concert: 7-8 p.m. May 13 in the auditorium at NAHS

• Lehigh Elementary chorus concert: 7-8 p.m. May 14 in the gymnasium at the school

• Borough Elementary Schools chorus concert: 7-9 p.m. May 15 in the cafeteria at the school

• Northampton Area Middle School band concert: 7-8 p.m. May 20 in auditorium at NAHS

• NAMS chorus and show chorus concert: 7-8 p.m. May 23 in the auditorium at NAHS

There will be a Borough Elementary PTA meeting held 4-5 p.m. May 14 at the school. All are welcome to attend.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ end-of-the-year event is set for 6-7:30 p.m. May 18 at Hillside Mini Golf and Ice Cream, 3219 Cherryville Road, Northampton.

From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. May 19, NASD will hold a facilities committee meeting in the library at NAHS.

Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend this public session.

The Class of 2025 commencement ceremony will be 7:30 p.m. May 30, with rain dates of May 31 and June 1, at Al Erdosy Stadium. Every graduating senior will receive 10 tickets at graduation practice the week of commencement.

NASD is looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of its Class of 2025.

Old yearbooks (2022-23 and 2023-24) for Northampton Area Middle School are available to purchase. Books are sold in room 215.

The cost is $25, and checks can be made to NASD Activity Fund.

Give your child a great start to a bright future. Community Services for Children and Head Start of the Lehigh Valley, in partnership with NASD, is offering prekindergarten, which can give your child a strong start in school and in life. There is no cost to you.

The program is for 3- and 4-year-olds residing in NASD and for families whose yearly income meets guidelines. It will be held in the NASD elementary buildings.
