The Northwestern Lehigh boys lacrosse team split a pair of games over the past week with a tough loss on the road and a big win at Tiger Stadium. After opening the season with a pair of wins, the Tigers have gone 4-4 over their past eight games.
The team suffered an 8-7 loss at Parkland recently but rebounded to take down Bethlehem Catholic 13-3 at home.
In the win over Beca, four Tigers players had multiple goals. Tyler Kaas and Braydon Uricchio both had three goals and Michael Lagowy and Kendall Wikert each had two goals for Northwestern. Grayson Christman had a goal and an assist and Braxton Lakatosh and Weiland Hite also added goals.
The defense limited the Golden Hawks’ opportunities to score and the combination of Dane Kauker and Harrison Wertman both collected three saves in the contest.
Northwestern Lehigh (6-4) is off until Tuesday when they travel to Bethlehem to play Freedom (6-6). The schedule gets particularly tough after that with back-to-back home games against Easton (11-0) and Nazareth (9-3).
