Stolen vehicle

A resident of Leh Street, Lower Milford Township, discovered his Honda motorcycle was removed from his front yard between 6 p.m. March 28 and 5:15 p.m. March 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI crashes

A Macungie motorist, 33, was allegedly driving under the influence when his pickup truck struck another vehicle from the rear in a crash near the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Mill Race Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:43 p.m. March 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

An Allentown motorist, 62, allegedly was driving under the influence in a three-vehicle crash in which a vehicle overturned near the intersection of East Texas Road and Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:23 p.m. March 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was northbound at the intersection and allegedly went through a stop sign and struck another vehicle. The vehicle that was hit spun counterclockwise and overturned onto its driver’s side, striking the third vehicle as it flipped, according to authorities. Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded.

Retail theft

A 62-year-old male, of Breinigsville, allegedly removed steak, shrimp and various seafood, with a value of $243.51, from Giant, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 11.

Someone allegedly removed groceries, valued at $209.31, from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, March 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two men allegedly worked together to distract a cashier to arrange a cash payment for purchases but did not provide the cash in an incident at Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, April 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The men allegedly removed food, grocery and other items valued at $50.53 and an activated gift card, valued at $200, according to authorities.

A 45-year-old female, of Whitehall, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly removed various merchandise, with a total value of $131.07, from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. She allegedly neglected to scan 16 items, according to authorities.

Someone allegedly removed items from retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, March 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone removed 49 items, with a total value of $1,645, from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 4.

DUI

A 36-year-old male, of Whitehall, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child after troopers came across what appeared to be a disabled vehicle in the area of Lower Macungie Road and Mill Race Road, Lower Macungie Township, midnight March 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Drug paraphernalia and a 6-year-old child were in the vehicle and the driver “displayed signs of drug related impairment,” according to a news release.

Drug possession

A student allegedly had a vape pen containing Tetrahydrocannabinol at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Pickpocket

A cellphone, its case and $50 cash were taken from a shopper at retailer Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The cellphone was valued at $1,400 and the phone case was valued at $50. The phone was turned in at a nearby store. The cash was not recovered, according to authorities.

Theft from vehicle

Someone removed a purse and its contents from a vehicle parked at retailer Costco, 791 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The leather purse was valued at $250 and contained a wallet, valued at $50, a smartphone, valued at $100, rosary beads, a credit card, identity cards and other items, according to authorities. The incident was reported April 3.

Identity theft

A resident of Loyola Street, Lower Macungie Township, learned her personal information was used to open two Verizon accounts, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 2.

Dog bite

A 38-year-old male, of Allentown, was bitten by a dog while making a delivery at a location along Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, 8:42 p.m. March 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Scam

An Upper Milford Township resident lost $6,300 in a scam, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 11.

A Lower Macungie Township resident was persuaded to transfer money from a bank account by a person pretending to be a representative from a bank, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 16.

An Upper Milford Township resident was swindled after being told they won millions of dollars more than five years ago and needed to pay taxes to receive the payout, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident did not receive any prize money and “is at a loss of a significant amount of money,” according to a news release from authorities. The incident was reported March 27.

Criminal mischief

A vehicle was vandalized with paint and glitter while parked along North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, between 10 p.m. April 4 and 11 a.m. April 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 24-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly grabbed and shoved another person at a location on Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, April 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Simple trespass

A 35-year-male, of Washington County, was cited for simple trespass after he was found allegedly removing items from a secured dumpster by troopers who were called to a location in the 8000 block of Quarry Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a suspicious vehicle in the area 12:38 a.m. April 6.

Theft

A resident of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, learned a check sent through the mail was intercepted and altered between March 6 and March 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
