Sensinger scores five goals vs. Westtown

The Parkland High School girls lacrosse team had its best week of the 2025 regular season to date, winning all three games in nonconference action.

The Trojans defeated Delaware Valley at home last Friday night, 19-5, took down Westtown School 18-7 on the road the following day and then got the better of Council Rock North on the road this past Monday evening, 13-8.

In the win over the Rams, the Trojans used a strong three-quarter stretch the final three quarters, outscoring them 16-2, to pull out the win. The two teams were tied 3-3 after the opening quarter. Offensively, Lila Temchatin, Anna Sensinger, Milla Hahn and Addison Winfield all finished with two goals and an assist, while both Jade Caravello and Samantha Schippell tallied two goals. Cara Skrapits rounded out the scoring with a goal. Audrina Stewart finished with two saves in net.

Against the Moose, which represent a private school in West Chester, Parkland held leads of 5-1 after the first quarter and 10-3 at halftime and was never really threatened the rest of the way.

Sensinger finished with five goals and two assists. Temchatin, Olivia Esteban and Hahn all had hat tricks as Temchatin also dished out three assists. Winfield notched two goals and two assists and both Schippell and Abigail Marquardt rounded out the scoring with a goal. Stewart ended with four saves.

In the victory against the Indians, Parkland overcame a 6-3 deficit after the first quarter and outscored them 10-2 the rest of the way for the win. Sensinger recorded a game-high five goals. Temchatin tallied three goals and two assists.

Winfield and Hahn each had two goals and combined for five assists. Esteban contributed one goal and one assist, while Caravello added an assist. Stewart made nine saves.

Parkland, which improved to 5-2 overall, had its first Eastern Pennsylvania Conference game Tuesday against Freedom and then travels to take on Easton on Thursday.
