The Parkland High School softball team split a pair of Eastern Pennsylvania Conference games last week.
The Trojans lost to Easton 4-1 last Tuesday, April 15, and then bounced back with a 15-0 victory at Dieruff this past Monday afternoon.

Hunsberger finished with two hits, a triple and a double, and scored the run. Emma Kushner and Addison Fritzinger had the other hits for the Trojans with Fritzinger’s a double.
In the win over the Huskies, Parkland did all of its scoring in the first two innings, bringing around 10 runs in the top of the first and then adding five more in the second to end the game early via the mercy rule after three innings.
The Trojans finished with 18 hits with 14 players recording at least one hit.
Maria Moore led the way with a team-high three hits and added five RBIs and scored three runs. Both Amelia Dawson and Scerena Reed finished with two hits with Reed adding two RBIs.
