The service depicts Jesus on the day of crucifixion. The service includes scripture readings, prayers and hymns. ABOVE: Pastor Gary Creely, of Brookside Community Church, presents the section titled “Jesus is Condemned to Death.” Creely gave a brief biblical synopsis of the trial. A hymn and prayer followed.

Virginia Langan of New Covenant Christian Community Church presents the station titled “The Cross is Laid on Simon of Cyrene.”

The station “Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem” is presented by Lisa Lenhart of Solomon’s U.C.C.

Paula Creely, associate pastor of Brookside Community Church, presents the station “Jesus is Stripped of His Garments.”

Michele Lutzko, of New Covenant Christian Community Church, presents the station “Jesus Dies on the Cross.”

The Rev. Frank Schaffer, of Solomon’s United Church of Christ, presents the station “Jesus is Laid in a Tomb.”

Rev. Samantha Drennan, of Grace Lutheran Church, opens the service with a prayer. See additional photos on Page B4.
