According to the meeting story in the April 23 edition of The Press, Macungie police will get 12 new radios and five bases which was a mandate made by the state at a cost of $18,245 per year for five years. The total cost is $91,225.17. Lehigh County will offer funding for the radios with a repayment plan to begin in 2026.
