Congratulations to senior Michael Restino who scored his 200th point in his Viking Lacrosse career in a win against The Shipley School, Bryn Mawr.

Great job to Lucas Mushrush who is the Lehigh Valley Boys Basketball Ambassador of the Year.

Mushrush ended his career at Allentown Central Catholic High School with 1,212 points and a school record of 229 career 3-pointers.

He is also ranked fifth academically in the 2025 senior class and will attend Ursinus College in the fall to continue his basketball and academic careers.

On April 24, ACCHS welcomed more than 150 seventh grade students from partner schools for the annual Seventh Grade Visitation Day. The visitors spent time with ACCHS students, visited classrooms and participated in outdoor activities.

Vikette Lacrosse Senior Night will be celebrated 5 p.m. April 30 before the 5:30 p.m. game at Salisbury High School.

Collegiate Athlete Signing Day for ACCHS seniors will be 8:30 a.m. May 1 in Rockne Hall. We invite you to join us in honoring these Viking and Vikette scholar athletes.

The ACCHS branch of the Aevidum Club has many upcoming spring events. On May 2, students are able to dress down in the Aevidum Club T-shirt to kick start Mental Health Awareness Month.

On May 7, the Aevidum Club will run a table at freshman orientation 6-8 p.m.

On May 8, the club will hold a scavenger hunt to start off the school day.

May 15 will be the club’s final meeting of the school year.

Join us for Vikette basketball clinics hosted by the coaches and players. Clinics are 6-8 p.m. in Rockne Hall with a cost per player by cash or check on the night of the event. Freshman orientation for the Class of 2029 will be 6-8 p.m. May 7 in Rockne Hall. This event is open to all incoming ninth grade students and their parents. Registration and T-shirt pick up will be 6 p.m., the welcome presentation will start 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. will be the academics, activities and athletics fair.

Tryouts for the ACCHS cheerleading team will be held 1-4 p.m. May 17 and 18 in Masson Auditorium. Attendance is required both days. Please wear athletic attire, sneakers, hair up and no jewelry. Incoming ACCHS freshmen and current students are welcome.

Vikette volleyball clinics for incoming freshmen will be held 1-5:30 p.m. May 18, 6-9 p.m. May 21 and 4-9 p.m. May 22.

Meet the ACCHS football coaches 4:30-7:30 p.m. May 23 at Jordan AC. There is a cost per person at the door that includes two free drinks and appetizers.

The event is for those ages 21 and older and will include raffles and a 50/50 to benefit the ACCHS football players and program. Meet head coach Jake Reichard and his team.

Female students within the Diocese of Allentown who are entering seventh or eighth grade next school year are invited to join the Valkyrie soccer team.

This team has been created for future diocesan high school scholar athletes. The team will play beginning at the end of the spring club season. They will participate in the JV Whitehall Summer League, with games Wednesdays and/or Thursdays June 5 through July 18.
