Whitehall Township Public Library: Film screening set for May 1
Join us for a screening of “Free for All: The Public Library,” set for 6 p.m. May 1 at Whitehall Township Public Library. The film tells the story of the pioneering women behind the free library movement to today’s librarians.

Saturday storytime is set for 11 a.m. May 10 for ages 3-8. Registration is required.

Kids in grades 3-6 can enjoy the Creation Station: Weird Water program 6 p.m. May 21. Learn about the flow of water in narrow spaces.

Lehigh Valley Crimes Through Time is set for 6:30 p.m. May 22. Local storyteller Ellen Flynn returns to share local true crime cases from the 1800s and early 1900s.

Visit the library’s indoor yard sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 30 and 31, with a special bag sale from noon to 3 p.m. May 31. Find kitchenware, holiday goods and more.
We’re accepting donations of items through May 23.

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.
The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.
The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.
The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.
The Death Cafe, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, meets 6:30 p.m. the third Monday.

The library’s regular hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
