Wayne G. Gollie, 83, of Upper Saucon Township, died at home surrounded by his loving family April 21, 2025. He and his wife, Elinor M. (Sell) Gollie, celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George R. and Alberta M. (Reed) Gollie.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Emmaus.
He retired as a superintendent from Bethlehem Steel Corporation after 34 years of employment.
He was a member of the Saucon Lodge #469 F&AM in Coopersburg, the Lehigh Valley Day Lodge #813, Rajah Shrine and Scottish Rite.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing at his cabin in Potter County and golfing. His greatest joy was watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting events.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Bonita J. David (Daniel), Jacqueline M. Marcante, Wayne G. II (Nancy) and Christine L. Cressman (David); nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul, Robert and Michael. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Harry.
A Masonic service will be held 11 a.m. April 30 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, followed by a funeral service 11:15 a.m. A visitation will be held 9:30-11 a.m. April 30 in the funeral home.
