Reminder: Sheckler Elementary third- and fourth-grade students will continue with their science PSSA May 1.

Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association football and cheering early registration is happening 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 3 at Opportunity Field, 890 Walnut St.

There will also be a free football combine for all Catasauqua residents, ages 4-12, from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 31 at Alumni Field.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education will next meet 7 p.m. May 6 in the board meeting room at the district office, 201 N. 14th St.

CASD committee meetings will take place 5-8 p.m. May 7 in the administration office, 201 N. 14th St. Committees will include the buildings and grounds, athletics and academics departments.

There will be an early dismissal May 7. Sheckler students will be dismissed 1:30 p.m.

Fourth-grade students will have their annual egg drop 1-3 p.m. May 9.

On May 12 and 13, Sheckler will hold its field day for students. Rain dates are May 14 and 15.

The fourth-grade band concert is set for 7-8 p.m. May 14.
