CMS News: Book fair planned for May 2-9
The book fair is coming to Catasauqua Middle School May 2-9.

There will be early dismissal May 7 for a faculty meeting. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Achievement night is set for 7-8 p.m. May 8 at CMS.

May 8 marks the middle of the fourth marking period.

There will be in-person sign-ups for Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association’s football season 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 3 at Opportunity Field, 890 Walnut St.
CYAA will also host a free football combine for all Catasauqua residents ages 4-12, set for 9:30 a.m.-noon May 31 at Alumni Field.
Come out to get a feel for football, meet the coaches and other players and have fun.

CMS is hiring a daily building substitute for the remainder of the school year. According to the district, the substitute is expected to provide instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, follow lesson plans and complete other duties as assigned.
The pay rate is $145 per day for a seven-hour shift and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Powerballers Athletic Center, 2550 Broadhead Road, Bethlehem, is holding sport-specific summer camps.
The schedule includes June 16-19, football; June 23-26, softball; July 1-3, coed all-sports fun camp; July 7-10, coed flag football; July 14-17, boys soccer; July 21-24, baseball at Notre Dame High School; July 28-31, field hockey; Aug. 4-7, girls soccer; and then Aug. 11-14, baseball.
