The organization was founded to assist families in locating family-friendly activities suitable for small children throughout the Lehigh Valley. The free event, held April 22, was designed to promote stewardship for young children to have a hand in taking care of their environment and the world they live in.
Making the cleanup fun, Madelyn Crouthamel, of Whitehall Township, plays among bubbles from a bubble machine while in pursuit of trash in the park.
A message created in chalk wishes all who visit the park a happy Earth Day after the completion of the park cleanup.
As a reward for her hard work collecting trash around the park, Scarlett Waters, of Northampton, enjoys a swing on the playground equipment.
