Catherine M. Sterner, 92, of Whitehall, died April 17, 2025, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Dr. John P. “Jack” Sterner.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony F. and Rhoda (Cunning) Mack.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by two sons, John P., Esq., and wife Maria of Whitehall and Mark A. and wife Deborah of Spring City; two daughters, Coleen A. and husband Fred Schrampf of Whitehall and Monica and husband Angelo LaDuca of Allentown; a sister, Anne and husband John Zuber of Summit Hill; six grandchildren, Jessica and Jaclyn Schrampf, Adam and Kristen LaDuca and Ethan and Hannah; one stepgrandson, Ryan Sariego; six great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Gbur and Sylvia Rader.

Services will be private at the family’s convenience.
