Bath: Church plans basket raffle

Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., will be holding its spring basket social 4-7 p.m. May 2, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. May 3 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. May 4. Winning tickets will be pulled 3:30 p.m. May 4, and you don’t need to be present to win.

There will be baked goods available for sale May 3.

Enter at the rear entrance off Route 512, next to MS Techz. Parking is available in the borough municipal lot.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bath Fire Department.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8-11 a.m. May 4. There will be something for everyone.

This is the last breakfast until October.

For cost and other information, call 610-261-2210 after 4 p.m. Children under age 5 eat for free

Petersville Rod and Gun Club will be holding a twisted purse bingo May 9. The doors open 5 p.m., and bingo begins 7 p.m.

There will be purses and perfumes. Full kitchen and bar will be available.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club will have a Mother’s Day buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 11. The menu consists of ham, turkey, potato filling, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn.

Bath Area Food Bank will be distributing food May 13, starting around 9:30 a.m., on the lower level of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St. Pleae do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. due to safety reasons.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be holding Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. June 23-27, with a child-friendly meal starting 5:30 p.m. Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where Northern Lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers and glistening glaciers, as attendees learn that Jesus is the True North.

This is for pre-K through fifth grade for the 2025-26 school year.

Registration forms are located in the gathering area and fellowship hall.
