Scott R. Lakatosh, 59, of Slatington, died April 5, 2025 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late LeeAnn (Heiney) Lakatosh, who predeceased him in 2021. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Eleanor L. (Metzger) Lakatosh, of Slatington and the late Robert A. Lakatosh, who predeceased him in 1991.

He graduated from Whitehall High School, Class of 1985. He worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network and Bridesburg Foundry in Whitehall. He was a member of United Church of Christ, Greenawalds. He loved NASCAR, country music (especially Johnny Cash), the Phillies, hanging out with his friends at the Diamond Fire Company in Walnutport, Bob Marley and cruising the Atlantic/Caribbean (especially Jamaica).

In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Susan J. Borger and her husband, Ray, of Whitehall, Sandra J., of Bethlehem, Diane L. Molchany and her husband, Tony, of Whitehall; seven nieces, eight great-nieces, two great-nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda A. who died in January.

A celebration of his life will be held 2:30 p.m. May 4 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Janet Newett officiating.
