Ronald R. Simock, 86, of Schnecksville, formerly of Orefield, died April 7, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Lucille N. (Shankweiler) Simock to whom he was married 64 years. Born in Schnecksville, he was the son of the late John and Emma I. (Agats) Simock.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era. He was employed as an electrician at the former Western Electric in Allentown for 43 years before retiring in 2001. He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed bowling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Beth A. Trumbauer (Terry), of Kutztown; son, Bret R. (Donna), of Schnecksville; siblings, John F. (Gloria), of Neffs, Robert J., of Orefield, Dale (Polly), of South Carolina, Carol A. Rex, of New Mexico, Marlene, of Schnecksville, Patricia Swercheck, of Slatington; grandchildren, Lindsay Wehr (Alex), Brooke, Austin and Kyle Trumbauer. He was predeceased by a sister, Dolores M. Rader.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
