Eleanor L. (Holben) Snyder, 92, of Kempton, died April 14, 2025, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of the late Sterling S. Snyder. Born in Weisenberg Township, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Lillian (Fenstermaker) Holben. She was employed at Springhouse Middle School in the Parkland School District as a cafeteria food service worker for 13 years before retiring in 1998. Prior to that, she was a seamstress at various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Seiberlingsville U.C.C., in Kempton.
She is survived by children, Edward S., of New Tripoli, Roger S. (Patricia), of Kempton, Sandra Snyder Davidson, of Bluffton, S.C.; three grandchildren, Wendy Boyer (Eran), Kimberly Haught (Joshua), Lydia; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Boyer, Samantha Boyer, Abigail Haught, Maxwell Haught; sisters, Roma Loch, of New Tripoli, Shirley Wessner (Ronald), of Kempton.
She was predeceased by siblings, Allen W. Holben and Annabell Merkle.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. April 18 at St. Paul’s Seiberlingsville U.C.C., 3880 Werleys Corner Road, Kempton. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. April 18 at the church.
