Daniel J. Lawrence, 58, of Allentown, died April 16, 2025, peacefully in his home with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Kay A. (Zelina) Lawrence to whom he was married 26 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Needham) Lawrence.

He was a senior software engineer for Guardian Life Insurance Company, in Bethlehem for the last 38 years. He was passionate about the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, Disney, roller coasters and Star Wars. His hobbies included playing golf, volleyball, running marathons and cruising.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by brothers, Scott, Steven; sisters-in-law, Barbara L. Gnann, Linda L. Gulick; brother-in-law, Thomas J. Zelina; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held 4 p.m. April 25 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects 3-4 p.m. April 25 in the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
