Anthony M. Morrone, 34, of Orefield, died April 7, 2025, in his home surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Easton, he was the son of Emilio J. “Jack” and Leslie A. (Limberg) Morrone. He graduated from Parkland High School, Class of 2012.

His smile was contagious, his spirit adventurous. He was always ready to go – on a day trip to the beach, a weekend in Pittsburgh to visit family or a car ride to nowhere in particular. He loved motion in all forms – spinning wheels, swinging pendant lights, amusement park rides, musical toys, the chaos of a volleyball game. His world was vibrant and he brought us into it with wonder.

He was supported throughout his life by extraordinary people and organizations, including Lehigh Valley Hospital NICU, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, VIA, Mercy School for Special Learning, Community Services Group, CLIU 21, The ARC of Lehigh and Northampton Counties, The Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley and Bayada Nursing. The family remembers Ruth from LVH, Vicki and Jennifer from Bayada and Vicki and Mary from Mercy School. His favorite companion, Jack Russell, Meg, was always by his side as his protector. And to Tiffany, Jackie, Kristin, Julia, Sammy, Kris, Alyssa and Chloe – young women who helped care for him and shared how deeply he shaped their lives – we are forever thankful.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Gina M. Hunt and her husband, Harrison, of Hoboken, N.J.; brother, Dominic E., at home; nephew, Hugo X. Hunt. His cousins Matthew, Christopher, Nicole, Dominique, Abby Jo and Emma each had their own special relationship with him.
