Hats off to the members of Future Business Leaders of America who represented CHS at the annual FBLA conference recently in Hershey. FBLA is the largest business career and technical student organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps more than 230,000 members in middle school, high school and college prepare for careers in business.

Thank you to the K-12 Career Connections coordinator Ms. Flueso for organizing and advising the FBLA Club.

A number of CHS students recently participated in a career exploration workshop hosted by Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association, where they had the opportunity to cook alongside industry professionals and explore careers in the culinary, baking and pastry arts and hospitality fields. From developing their culinary techniques to practicing event management and networking skills, students were able to gain valuable real-world experience and a taste of the industry.
