NAZARETH: “Seussical”

Nazareth’s “Seussical” follows favorite Dr. Seuss characters from the Jungle of Nool to the invisible world of the Whos, 7 p.m. April 3, 4; 1 p.m., 7 p.m. April 5; 1 p.m. April 6, auditorium, Nazareth Area High School, 501 E. Center St., Nazareth.

Director Sandy Jameson is assisted by Assistant Director Devin Cetnar, Vocal Music Director Craig Albert, Choreographer Logan Farley, Pit Orchestra Director Matt Tanzos, Costume Supervisor Dawn Emmons, Painting Supervisor Amanda Uecker-Miernicki, Construction Supervisor Donald Jameson, Lighting Director Chelsea Soto and Sound Director Randall Utsch.

With music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, book by Ahrens and Flaherty, and co-conceived by Eric Idle, the musical is based on the illustrated books of Dr. Seuss.

The 2000 Broadway production received one Tony Award nomination.

Production numbers include “Oh, The Thinks You Can Think,” “Alone in the Universe,” “It’s Possible” “Notice Me Horton,” “Amazing Mayzie” and “How Lucky You Are.”
