Senior Maddie Trocki was honored recently being named to the field hockey Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the conference office.

The Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2024 season. The team consists of 11 student-athletes from both the MAC Freedom and MAC Commonwealth teams voted on and selected by the Sports Information Directors of the MAC schools highlighting each student-athletes academic and athletic credentials. To be eligible you must have a 3.2 GPA for the 2024 fall semester.

Trocki, a sport & exercise physiology major had a 3.75 GPA this past fall semester, earning Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her career.

She adds this honor to a long list of postseason accolades that includes: All-MAC Freedom First-Team, MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year, NFHCA All-Region First-Team, ECAC First-Team, ECAC Offensive Player of the Year, and NFHCA Second-Team All-American.

Trocki finished the season with a team-high 18 goals and 37 total points. She also concluded her career as the all-time leader in both goals scored (58) and points scored (142).
