Someone removed $850 cash from a residence on Trexlertown Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 27.
Someone forced entry to and removed multiple items from a residence on Terrwood Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, between 9 a.m. Feb. 23 and 6:31 p.m. Feb. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Resisting arrest
A 42-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody after he allegedly struck a state trooper in the face with a closed fist during a struggle at a location along East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:15 p.m. Feb. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Two people were taken into custody in an assault investigation at a location along Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 13, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The first person was in custody in the incident when the second person was taken into custody for allegedly obstructing the investigation, according to authorities.
Theft
An orange Husqvarna chain saw was removed from a residence in the 7500 block of Carls Hill Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 12, according to authorities.
A water treatment device and five gas cans were removed from a property along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, between midnight and 4 a.m. Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A resident of Hickory Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned his ex-girlfriend used his debit card to buy a new cellphone without his authorization Dec. 28, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 30, 2024, according to authorities.
Theft from motor vehicle
Binoculars were removed from a vehicle along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, between Feb. 8 and Feb. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A flashlight, valued at $30, two pairs of sunglasses with a total value of $100 and $70 cash were among items removed from vehicles along Loyola Street, Lower Macungie Township, around 4:05 a.m. Feb. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A black bag containing the items was later found by investigators in the area of Brookfield Park, according to authorities. The items were returned to their owners.
Criminal mischief
Someone scratched the driver side front and passenger doors of a vehicle along Medical Center Circle, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 17.
A resident of Linfield Circle, Lower Macungie Township, reported the passenger front and rear car tires were slashed at McDonald’s, Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, while he was at work between 4 and 11 p.m. Feb. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Heritage Drive, Lower Macungie Township, found all four vehicle tires had been slashed, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 11:16 p.m. Feb. 20.
Retail theft
Three men allegedly removed women’s cosmetics with a total value of $1,674 from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The men allegedly concealed the items in their coats. The incident was reported Feb. 2.
A 32-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly removed assorted items with a total value of $1,300 from retailer Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:14 p.m. Feb. 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft
Someone removed an Amano Pioneer Eclipse drum sander, valued at approximately $2,000, from the tool rental section of retailer Home Depot, 5877 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 12:30 p.m. Feb. 20.
DUI
A 28-year-old male, of Emmaus, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash in the area of the 4000 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 12:49 a.m. Feb. 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver allegedly made a left turn onto Pennsylvania Route 29 near Colebrook Avenue and struck another vehicle.
A 58-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence in the area of Mountain Road at Gehman Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:13 a.m. Feb. 22 when the sport utility vehicle he was driving left the road, struck a tree and rolled onto its side, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was treated at the scene for minor injuries and transported to a hospital, according to authorities.
A 32-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence in the 2400 block of Hilltop Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:13 a.m. Feb. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 21-year-old male, of New Jersey, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a pole in the 3400 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Upper Milford Township, 11:55 p.m. Jan. 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was towed from the crash scene, according to authorities.
Crashes
A motorist escaped injury when her sport utility vehicle struck a house in the 5300 block of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, 7:09 a.m. Feb. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was eastbound on Shimerville Road when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed through the westbound lane and struck the house, damaging the front porch and main structure, according to authorities. Mechanic Plus and Upper Milford Township firefighters also responded.
A motorist escaped injury when her vehicle struck a pole after her coffee spilled as she pulled out of a drive-thru at McDonald’s, 6479 Village Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 9:05 a.m. Feb. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A cup of coffee in her center console started to spill as she pulled from the restaurant and, when moving the coffee cup, she lost control of the vehicle and hit the pole, according to authorities.
Both motorists were unhurt in a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and passenger vehicle on an icy road in Lower Milford Township 10:52 p.m. Feb. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A Mack truck commercial vehicle was southbound on Kings Highway South when it became disabled after the driver lost control attempting to a climb a hill and went into the opposite lane, according to authorities. The passenger vehicle was northbound on the road when it went out of control and collided with the truck, damaging the truck axle. Mechanic Plus also responded.
Hit-and-run crash
A vehicle crashed into two residential mailboxes in the 5500 block of Acorn Drive, Upper Milford Township, overnight Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Debris from the vehicle was found at the scene, according to authorities.
Harassment
A 45-year-old female, of Wescosville and a 53-year-old male, of Whitehall, were charged with harassment after he allegedly pushed her to the ground and she allegedly grabbed the lanyard around his neck, causing a minor injury, during an incident along Liberty Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 8:27 a.m. Jan. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A caller threatened a woman and her family at a residence along East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, Jan. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone sent threatening text messages to a teen at a location along Hanover Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Jan. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
